Q. What Is A Make-Up Charter?
A. A make-up charter is when you share the cost of a charter fishing trip with others.

Q. How Do I Sign Up For A Make-Up Charter?
A. Come into the tackle shop at Bahia Marina and pay your fee to the booking clerk.

Q. Can I Be Assured That I'll Go Fishing?
A. No. There is no guarantee that we will be able to make-up a party on the days you will be available.

Q. How Much Does It Cost?
A. $275.00 per person.

Q. How Many People Will I Fish With?
A. 4 to 6 people max.

Q. Can I Choose The Charter Boat?
A. No. A rotation process is used to select the boat when we determine which boats will be available for the following day.

Q. Why Do I Have To Pay In Advance?
A. You pay in advance to assure that you will show up for your fishing trip.

Q. Will I Get A Receipt When I Pay My Fee?
A. Yes. It is very important that you protect your receipt.

Q. Will My Money Be Refunded If I Don't Get To Go Fishing?
A. Yes, under the following conditions: 1) If we are unable to make up your party, 2) if no charter boats are available or 3) if the Captain cancels the trip due to bad weather. You must personally present your receipt in order to receive your refund. There will be no exceptions to this requirement.

Q. How Do I Know When I'll Get To Go Fishing?
A. It is your responsibility to check with us either in person or by phone between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily to confirm your reservation. Then we can let you know if we have been able to make up your party and for which date. We will not call you.

Q. What Happens If I Don't Check With You?
A. Failure to contact us or failure to arrive at departure time will result in a total forfeiture of your fee REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

Q. What Time Do Charters Leave And Return?
A. The charter boats leave the dock at 6:00 a.m. and return back to the dock at 6:00 p.m.

Q. Will I Get My Fair Share Of Fishing Time?
A. Yes. The mate will have sufficient lines rigged up when the boat is trolling. He will make sure that each angler has equal opportunity to catch the "Big One".

Q. Will I Get My Share Of The Fish?
A. Yes. All fish caught by the party are divided equally among the anglers. If you want to have a fish you caught mounted, you can certainly do so.

Q. What Should I Bring With Me?
A. All rods, reels, bait and tackle are furnished by the captain. You should bring food and beverages, small cooler, sunglasses, hat, suntan lotion, jacket and motion sickness pills if you need them. Bahia Marina is open 24 hours a day in season and the above mentioned items are sold in the tackle shop. Box lunches are also available if you call Fish Tales (410-289-0990) the day before the trip to place an order.

Q. Where Can I Get My Fish Cleaned?
A. Fish cleaning service is available, for a reasonable rate, at the marina. We sell ice and coolers as well.
